Timeline
Movement of Diet Coke
The principle that guides the viewer's eye through a composition, creating a sense of flow, action, or rhythm, making static elements feel dynamic and engaging
Pattern of Diet Coke
The repeating arrangement of visual elements like lines, shapes, colors, or textures to create a cohesive, rhythmic, and often seamless motif used to add visual interest and texture to surfaces or backgrounds
Contrast of Diet Coke
The deliberate use of opposing or different visual elements—like color, size, shape, or texture—to create visual interest, hierarchy, focus, and impact, making elements stand out and guiding the user's eye through the composition
Unity of Diet Coke
The separate parts working together in a composition. The sense of cohesiveness between the elements in a composition.
Emphasis of Diet Coke
The part of the design that catches the viewer's attention. Emphasis occurs any time an element of a piece is given dominance by the artist.
Balance of Diet Coke
The distribution of the visual weight of objects, colors, texture, and space. If the design was a scale, these elements should be balanced to make a design feel stable
Assemblage Sneaker
The goal of this was to create or texture an object using found objects. I chose to texture a tennis shoe using the fabric from tennis balls.
Rhythm of Diet Coke
A principle of design that suggests movement or action. Rhythm is usually achieved through repetition of lines, shapes, colors, and more
Subtractive Sculpture
This sculpture was freeform, so I mostly just made decisions as I went along. As I was carving each side, my goal was to incorporate multiple unique textures using different techniques with various tools.
